Privacy Policy, MUET 2027: Complete Exam Prep
MUET 2027 is an unofficial practice app. It is not affiliated with Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia.
In short
You don't need an account to use the app, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number. Your answers, drafts and results stay on your phone. When you ask our AI examiner to check your writing or speaking, that answer is sent for marking once and is not kept on our servers.
What stays on your phone
The app saves your drafts, your test answers and scores, your past AI results, your exam session, your target band and your theme choice on your device. It also creates a random install ID the first time you open it. This ID is not linked to your name or your Google or Apple account.
When you ask for an AI check
The app asks for your permission the first time. After you agree, each time you tap the check button we send your answer, the question you answered and your install ID to our server, which forwards the answer to OpenRouter. OpenRouter passes it to an AI model provider, such as Google or Anthropic, which returns your estimated band and feedback. We ask OpenRouter to use only providers that don't keep your data and don't use it to train AI.
Our server doesn't store or log the text of your answer or your voice recording. Speaking recordings follow the same path, and they are deleted as soon as marking is done.
Daily limits
To keep the service fair and affordable, our server counts how many AI checks each install ID and each network makes per day. Instead of storing your IP address we keep a one-way scrambled version of it that changes every day. These counts are deleted automatically after two days.
Reports
If you tap "Report this feedback" or "Report a wrong answer", we receive your install ID, the reason you chose, any note you type, and the band or question it refers to. We keep reports for 90 days to fix mistakes, then they are deleted automatically.
Purchases
Full Access is sold through Google Play or the App Store. They handle your payment, and we only receive confirmation that a purchase was made. We never see your card details.
Hosting
Our server runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard connection data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the service. Listening audio is downloaded from the same server.
What we don't do
- We don't show ads.
- We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.
- We don't use your answers to train AI.
Children
The app is made for MUET candidates, who are usually 17 or older. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your phone. To ask us to delete a report you sent, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change how the app handles your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
